EVOLUTION: Liquid detergents have come a long way since the first bar soaps made from animal fat and lye were offered for sale in the 1700s. Later, the synthetic detergents in the 1950s offered homemakers more options for fabric care. In 1970s addition of enzymes brought the most significant innovation in the laundry since they attack specific types of stains.
DETERGENT FORMULAS: Many of the ingredients can be manufactured from plants; others are petroleum-based. It is the amount of each ingredient and how they are combined that determines the cleaning ability of the detergent.
TILL NOW: The conventional laundry wash was a combination of detergent powder and detergent liquid to meet all parameters of perfect wash.
USP: Our USP is the bio-based raw materials, lowest cost with highest efficiency for ultimate washing experience - whereas the detergent powders need supplements like liquids to complement for any single wash to satisfy all parameters.
Our novel product will be a boon to all home makers in terms of monthly laundry bill and ultimate skin care. Our entering the foray is backed by and a result of two years research, deliberations, consultations, advice and brainstorming with experts in the field, market survey, existing industry players, space for new entrants and a host of other critical factors existing in the Industry.
THE PRESENT AND FUTURE: “PODS” is a highly concentrated liquid packed in polyvinyl alcohol based film which fully dissolves in water. This can be used in machine wash or bucket wash. PODS ensures brightness, whiteness, stain removal, fragrance and is skin-friendly. This is bio-based and eco-friendly and NIL plastic generation. To add on, one pod of 10-15 grams can give 6-8 kg clothes a perfect wash.
ALLIED PRODUCTS: After launch of PODS, our aim is to continue offering similar new products in the home care segment like floor cleaner, tiles cleaner, dish washer, to name a few.
Iyer Subramanya Ganesh is a Commerce Graduate and holds an MBA degree in Finance. He has a total career spanning five decades. Of this, he spent 2 decades in Hindustan Petroleum in middle management cadre in fuel operations with specific reference to Jet A-1 fuel supplied to aircrafts at airports. His profile encompasses quality control, HSE, broad HR aspects, training, finance, operations, audits and inspections. He also spent 17 years abroad serving United Nations Peacekeeping Missions in Oman, Africa and Haiti.
Mrs Radhika Maduru holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture and has spent many years in education field. She will play an active role in the core marketing aspects of the organization.
